Better than I ever expected

I saw Jon Munn (@j_munny on Instagram) post about the Bedford, Brewer's and Ammo Boots and was intrigued. Especially when I found out this was a Canadian Company.
The Oxblood Brewer's Boots have a sleek and slim silhouette and given the finish on the leather and the colour, they can be dressed up or dressed down. I chose them over the Copper based on that.

Honestly when I opened the box, I was blown away. The boots looked even better than I thought. The deep red/burgundy hue with some brown undertones in that waxed finish just make these boots, literally, shine! The pull-up leather just gives them a ton of character (I can't wait to see how they patina). In terms of the finishing, I couldnt be happier with these boots. The stitch density, both on the upper and the welt, is extremely tight and there isn't a single loose thread or stitch out of place. I was seriously amazed how tight the stitching was on the welt, especially compared to my Allen Edmonds. Just an FYI, the boots are now 360 degree welted.

In terms of fit, I have a pretty high volume foot and my instep gets pinched on almost every boot I buy. These ones, while snug all around, aren't too tight anywhere. Sizing down from my brannock size of 9D to an 8.5 resulted in a perfect fit! The toe box is also snug, my feet are locked in place but, again, it's not too tight. And the insole/footbed on these boots is INSANELY comfortable!

I could not be happier with this purchase. And can't wait to get more from Hartt.

Beautiful Boot!

I had been looking for a somewhat dressy boot for some time when I came across the Hartt collection. I was unsure about fit and the advice given was perfect. Customer service was top notch but most important the boots are beautiful....even better than pictured. Truly a quality product. Glad to support a local company too. Thanks Hartt!!

Brewer's Boot

Can't get over how versatile and resilient the Brewer's Boot is - Perfect all season long and casually elegant in any scenario... Easy to clean and also very functional against Newfoundland winter!

These boots are versatile.

You can wear them with jeans or a suit. They quickly replenish with a polish/wax. The rubber sole allows indoor and outdoor access that clean up easily and don't wear down.
