The Hartt (re)Launch Event
We were pleased to have so many friends and guests join us at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery for a very special evening as we relaunched our brand. After a year of working to bring everything together, we are pleased to finally present our Heritage Collection.
The evening started out with a reception accompanied by the Don Bossé Jazz Quartet.
The event was marked with a number of excellent speakers:
Patrick Oland, CFO, Moosehead Breweries
On behalf of Moosehead Breweries, Ganong Chocolates and Crosby's Molasses, Patrick welcomed Hartt back into the club of proud Heritage NB brands. Patrick gave a wonderful address on behalf of Derek Oland and David Ganong. He shared a story of his shoes, which were his father's 50 year old Hartt shoes.
Nancy Mathis, Executive Director of the Wallace McCain Institute
Nancy was our MC for the evening and helped set the mood of the evening. Nancy is known for her ability to lift the spirits of those around her and she did just that.
Matt DeCourcey, MP, Fredericton
Matt DeCourcey sent a thoughtful address by video that was shared during the event. Matt joked that his effectiveness in the House has noticeably improved since wearing his new Hartt shoes.
Stephen Horsman, Deputy Premier of the Province of New Brunswick
Deputy Premier Horsman brought greetings on behalf of the Province. We were honoured to have such a special guest at our event.
Mike O'Brian, Mayor of the City of Fredericton
Mike O'Brian brought greetings on behalf of the city. Mike was an early supporter of our relaunch and we greatly appreciate his words.
Paul Fleming, Fredericton Fire Chief
Paul shared personal stories from his experiences working in the Hartt Shoe Factory. Paul was helpful in helping us ensure we achieved the level of quality shoe that honours the tradition of the Hartt brand.
Guests had the opportunity to view the Heritage Collection up close and experience the quality and craftsmanship of the Hartt brand.
The evening wrapped up with a speech from CEO Andrew Bedford on why he took on this challenge, as well as the vision for the future of the company. Next was Peter McMath, COO, who led the crowd through the newly released Heritage Collection. We want to express a sincere note of appreciation for everyone who attended and helped make this evening all that it was.
